1kg Gravy beef, chopped into chunks
1 onion, chopped
1 tsp ground turmeric
1 tsp sweet paprika
2 tsp ground cumin
1 tsp ground coriander
½ tsp garam masala
2 tsp ground cinnamon
2 tsp chutney (any type)
1 tablespoon honey
1 Beef stock cube, with 1 cup water
Place all ingredients into the slow cooker and cook on low for 8-10 hours or on high for 5-6 hours. Thicken with cornflour mixed with water if needed for the last 30 minutes. Serve on a bed of cous cous with steamed green vegetables.
*You can also add a tin of lentils to make the recipe go further.
